When a woman gets to a certain age, dating can be very frustrating to say the least. Although you are never too old to look for love, the older you get, it seems like the more problems arise when getting back into the dating market. There’s a big compatibility factor that drives men to look towards partners relative to their own age. A woman in her late 50’s might try dating several times without finding anyone special. Sadly that same woman may think she’s too old to start dating and might write off men for the rest of her life. This is something that we need to change as again, you are never too old to find love.

Here are some really helpful tips that mature women can use to help them in today’s dating game.

Do you and the new man in your life share the same values?

Asking out a guy isn’t as taboo as it once was even 10 years ago. It’s perfectly natural for a girl to ask out a guy if she’s interested in him. In fact, you’d be surprised how many guys have probably wanted to ask you out built were too afraid or nervous to. Here are some tried and true methods for asking out that special guy.

Step 1 – Be prepared. If you’re going to ask him out then make sure you have at least a general ideas as to what you are going to say. The great thing about teens these days is that they have a tool that we older women never even imagined using. The internet is a great place to find information on this subject. A simple Google search will yield literally thousands of sample conversations or “lines” you can use when asking out a guy.  

Have you ever found yourself in the situation where a guy flirts with you and you’re not quite sure how to respond? Does flirting feel awkward? Don’t worry. Most women feel awkward when they try to flirt with a guy they have an interest in. Here are some simple tips that can have you flirting with confidence. Before long that guy will be all yours.

 Flirting is supposed to be fun. The biggest issue most women have with flirting is that they stress out far too much about it. Believe it or not the girls that can confidently flirt aren’t any smarter or prettier than any of us. They are simply having fun with flirting, and after a while, you can too.  When you first are trying out flirting just remember the basics. Smile often, keep eye contact and show genuine interest.

Going on that first date with a guy you’ve had your eye on can be a real nerve-killer. Although you should always stay true to yourself and act naturally, there are a few things you should know before he knocks on your door. With any luck you’ll be making plans for date #2 before the night is over.

Punctuality:  Make sure that if you are meeting your date somewhere that you are on time. Waiting on someone when you are already a little apprehensive or nervous is very frustrating. If he is picking you up at your place then make sure you are ready at the prearranged time. Although a few guys might think it’s cute for you to answer the door with your curls still in, most guys don’t like waiting on your couch while you finish getting ready.

Pregnancy can be one of the greatest experiences in a woman’s life. Unfortunately too many young teen girls with bright futures ahead of them are experiencing pregnancy at far too early of any age. Teen pregnancy can be traumatic for a lot of people other than just the mother. The child’s father (often a young teenager himself) not to mention the parents and family of the couple as well. The actual stress of telling people, the increased pressure from family and friends on your decision making and just simply moving on for the best interest of the child can be very hard for a young girl. Pregnancy with teenagers will never be easy and will most likely continue to be a highly controversial topic for a long time. .

One of the biggest dating trends that are becoming more and more prevalent in the media and elsewhere is older women dating younger men. Whether its celebrities, political figures or even the new couple down the street, age is no longer a barrier or a prerequisite for a mature relationship. Why is it that men are finally beginning to see what older women can offer? What traits in older women do men find attractive and why?

For one thing, a lot of guys claim that older women just have a more self confidence and seem more exotic sexually. This really isn’t that surprising since older women do usually have much more experience in the bedroom than their younger male partners. They know their way around the bedroom! Men believe that older women are more passionate and experimental in the bedroom as well. This sis typically true as well. Older women tend o have “been there, done that” and are looking for a new experience. Despite their age, older women have a stronger libido than younger women. This is good for younger men as they have the youth and stamina to keep up with them!

There’s not too many things more painful than having to see your ex dating someone new. If you still have feelings for your ex then it is especially hard to see him with another woman. If most of us had our way we‘d just assume we never see this guy again. However if you still harbor feelings for your ex then you owe it yourself to se if its worth getting him back. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that just because he’s with a new woman doesn’t mean that he cant still have feelings for your too.

Seeing your ex with his new woman can make you easily very upset. If you want him back though you should really keep calm, cool and collected. You shouldn’t let him see you angry. The first time he sees you cry over the loss of your relationship he’s mre likely to just be even more distant and your chances at rekindling your love become much less. Unfortunately you’ll need to put on a nonchalant face and pretend it doesn’t bother you as much as it does.  It may not be easy to do but its necessary.

So you’ve finally found another guy and came out of your post-divorce depression. That’s great! Unfortunately for many women starting another relationship is very hard when their children disapprove or simply don’t like your new boyfriend. This is a touchy spot to be in. First off you have the relationship itself. Its new, you’re not 100% sure where it will end up and you might be afraid that even though he says that he loves children, he might change his mind if your little one doesn’t start warming up to him.

On the other hand you have your child, who obviously comes first and foremost before any guy. So what’s the answer? Are you doomed to living a singles life until your son or daughter grows up?

Having to deal with your husband’s ex-wife can be frustrating to say the least. There are many reasons why your husband might need to stay in contact with his ex. If children are involved, then you’ll need to be prepared to have some sort of an understanding with this woman. Some ground rules and guidelines probably wont hurt either. You basically just want to foresee any issues that you and your husband could have with her and decide how to handle them before they become real problems.

First and foremost, talk to your husband and get a clear understanding as to when and why he will want you to get involved with talking to his ex. If there are child visitations, school functions or even some straggling financial ties with your husband then most likely you’ll need to talk to her sooner than later.

Falling in love can be an exciting time for any woman. You meet Mr. Right at just the right time and just like that everything is just perfect. However… lets make sure that our feet are still securely planted in financial reality. Far too many women fall victim to deadbeat guys or scam artist boyfriends. We’re not implying that you become paranoid and overly-cautious that you cant even trust a guy, but you need to make sure that you keep your senses about yourself and keep a tight reign on your purse and ATM card. .

 If your new guy automatically starts asking to borrow a few bucks here and there, it might be wise to keep your distance. If he asks or a substantial amount of money to pay his rent or car payment, this should be a real wake-up call that something is really wrong and you should probably ditch this loser. Of course everyone has tough financial times every now and again but is he really asking to borrow money after only a month or two? Any way you look at it that’s simply out of line. .
